The last few weeks have been a bit crazy trying to get into a new routine with our new baby doll, but now it is TIME to share some photos of our darling little girl and what life is like now that she is here! 🙂 I will post her birth story later tonight, or tomorrow, depending on how much I get done before I should head off to bed, seeing as how I will be up a few times to feed the little darling.
Desi Rae Ostler posing for her first picture. When she came out, she didn’t cry hardly at all. Only for about 20 seconds and then all of a sudden, she was calm, looking around checking out this crazy place she just became a part of. I was instantly in love.
Bekkett playing peek-a-boo with baby sis.
Dad and Mom taking turns cuddling our new little angel in the hospital. Taking time to rest.
Bekkett “cuddling” baby sis and sharing the truck that Desi gave him. That first night home, I wondered if she would survive with Bekkett around. But, he has become so soft with her and loves his baby sis! (I keep convincing him of that haha!) But really, it is getting better every day!
Our first outing. Desi’s 5 day appointment. Bekkett was a little pill and was stealing Desi’s blanket and binki. We couldn’t help but laugh and take pictures of him.
This is how Bekkett “holds” Desi. Kickin’ it. Haha.
Alia’s first time meeting her birthday buddy. They have the same birthday, just a year apart. She isn’t quite sure what to think of a baby. Just like any other 1 year old! 🙂 We weren’t able to make it to any of Alia’s first birthday celebration things, but we hope that these two will have a special connection as they grow older because they are birthday buddies!
SEE, Bekkett really DOES love his sis!
Desi’s first week of life was quite cold and stormy outside, so we kept her bundled up. Some of her many cute faces.
Bekkett got a big boy back pack that he LOVES. Now he carries around his and baby sis’s diapers, wipes, his sippy, and a few small toys. Like I said, he LOVES his back pack and will sometimes even wear it around the house.
Her first bath at home.
A week after we got home, we were having a lazy Saturday, but I wasn’t feeling so hot, so I took time to rest a bit and snuggle this princess.
D money in the dress I made her while Greg was in North Carolina in December. Look at her sweet mullet!
The little stink pulled all of the hospital wipes out of the package. Good thing he is cute! 🙂 And yes he has Desi’s leg warmers on his arms. He wants to be like baby sis 😉
Tummy time with brother.
All stretched out.
Playing at the park. A much needed day outside after a long week of cold, windy, and stormy weather.
Well, that is a bit of a picture overload. I could have chosen MANY more photos to add to it, but I decided that that would be enough for now. Desi has definitely changed our lives for the better and as each day goes on, life just keeps getting better. We are truly blessed! Stay tuned for her birth story and her newborn photo shoot.
